HYDE PARK VILLAGE PRESENTS FALL FESTIVAL

 

TAMPA, FLORIDA (September 28, 2011) – Hyde Park Village presents the annual Fall Festival celebration and Pumpkin Patch, Saturday, October 15, 11 AM to 1 PM, with a pre-event music class at 10 AM.  Little ghosts and goblins, dressed in their Halloween best, will enjoy trick or treating, arts & crafts, a bounce house, face painting, dance performances by Ms. Lisa"s Dance School and a concert with children"s rock musician, Mr. Richard!   Admission and parking are FREE and friendly dogs on leashes are welcome!

 

Ready to put your boogie shoes on?  Richard Peeples plays over 400 shows a year for children and their families.  Mr. Richard’s three albums, "Might As Well Sing", "Tummy Talk" and "Polka Dot Puzzle", have yielded infectious tunes like "Underwear", "Bobo Baby Jay", "Cry Baby" and the dance-along favorite, "Loopy Doop".  Mr. Richard has won a variety of awards, as well as positive reviews and features in the New York Post, Parenting Magazine and Cookie Magazine.

 

Before Mr. Richard takes the stage, children and their parents can join Ms. Alli from Music Together® for a free pre-event interactive music class.  Music Together® classes build on your child"s natural enthusiasm for music and movement.  Children develop musically while having fun and being exposed to eclectic music from around the world!

 

Fall Festival Stage Entertainment Schedule:
o 10 to 10:45 AM :: Music Together® class with Ms. Alli
o 11 to 11:25 AM :: Ms. Lisa’s Dance School dancers
o 11:30 to 12 PM :: Mr. Richard
o 12 to 12:25 PM :: Ms. Lisa’s Dance School dancers
o 12:30 to 1 PM :: Mr. Richard

 

The Pumpkin Patch also opens at the Fall Festival.  Shoppers will enjoy plump pumpkins in all shapes and sizes and festive photo opportunities.  The Pumpkin Patch opens at 10 AM, Saturday, October 15 and closes at 6 PM, Sunday, October 30, 2011.  The Pumpkin Patch will be open Monday to Friday :: 5 to 8 PM; Saturdays :: 10 AM to 8 PM; Sundays :: 12 to 6 PM.

 

Fall Festival at Hyde Park Village is sponsored by the St. Petersburg Times and tbt* and all proceeds from pumpkin sales benefit The Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
