CITY STREET SWEETS IN HYDE PARK VILLAGE IS NOW ENROLLING FOR CANDY COLLEGE
TAMPA, FLORIDA (June 7, 2010) – School is out, but college is in… Candy College that is! City Street Sweets in Hyde Park Village is now enrolling aspiring candy makers and chocolatiers in four different hands-on courses, Chocolate Bar Therapy, Chocolate Pizza Maker, Chocolate Bar Creator and Candy Making Experience.
Students will stroll through Jelly Bean Boulevard, curve around Classic Candy Corner and make a pit-stop at Bubble Gum Gardens. After a cruise down the Freezatini Freeway and window shopping on CraZapple Ave., students will see Chocolate City Bark Park and walk down Fudge Lane for fun facts about candy and chocolate.
Chocolatiers-in-training can taste gourmet and premium chocolates in the Chocolate Lava Lounge while watching chocolate experts temper delicious, high-quality chocolate for dipping handmade delectables. Students will be tested on how well they load sprinkles, nuts and candies on to their one-of-a-kind chocolate bar or candy creation!
Candy College classes are taught daily by professional candy makers and chocolatiers at City Street Sweets in Hyde Park Village. Classes start at just $5.95 per student and include a VIP tour of the candy store, samples, a take-home treat and discounts on chocolates, candies and ice cream.
