- Howard Alan Art Festival
- Saturday and Sunday, October 27 - 28, from 10 AM to 5 PM
Located just outside the city of Tampa, along several city and residential blocks, Hyde Park provides upscale shopping in high-end boutiques, as well as premier dining in various restaurants and café’s. Locals and tourists alike find Hyde Park Village to be a prime area for any and all ages.
It’s been just over 2 decades since it’s inception, and this esteemed community art festival continues to highlight the talents of more than 150 exhibitors displaying a wide range of works from life-size sculptures to photography and jewelry. There are all sorts of opportunities to appreciate – and purchase – art, during this weekend of visual inspiration.
Festival promoter Howard Alan Events is proud to partner with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, the signature breast cancer division for the American Cancer Society, Hyde Park Village merchant The Pink Petticoat and many of the participating artists committed to raising awareness for this deadly disease.
A special chance giveaway will offer festival-goers the opportunity to support the cause and make a $1 optional donation for a chance to win the original “Fight Like a Girl” specially decorated bra designed and donated by the pink petticoat.
In addition, the winner will receive an after hours private shopping party for 10 people at the store, that includes champagne & dessert or wine & cheese, as well as store wide discounts, a value of $200. All of the proceeds will go to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. The organization will be accepting donations and providing information at their booth throughout the weekend. The drawing will be held on Sunday, October 28 at 3 PM. The winner will be notified via cell phone.
